Forest City Industrial Sewing produces a variety of products with insulating properties. Our most extensive product line is for maintaining temperatures of liquid containers. Usually for sensitive chemicals, our chemical tank covers have been tested to maintain a 350 gallon "tote" style tank 40 degrees above ambient temperature along with an appropriate heat system. Our unique design, consisting of Astrofoil® insulation faced on the outside with a tough FR reinforced vinyl provides for easy and precise fabrication, lightweight and compact shipping and storage, and excellent long-term insulation performance even after being exposed to rain. Customization options are limitless, including specialized tops, cut-outs for stacking lugs, inlet and outlet valves, and sight valves.
Calorique/Flexwatt is our partner, supplying low-wattage heat systems that help maintain a container's temperature. Using a "rear defogger" concept, these systems work off standard 110V power and are not so overpowering that they could damage a poly tank. |
